“We have been utilising the services of Brutal Art Design + Build for over three years.

The initial work performed was to design and project manage the renovation of our home in Surrey Hills which went on to win the HIA best renovation $350 – $500K Category. As the HIA judges come through our home and discussed the renovation with us, I talked to them about their thoughts on the pros and cons of different ways in which the renovation could be performed. The judge’s response was that they believed that all the correct decisions had been made in the design process. They were also very impressed with the workmanship within the home.

The next project that was undertaken was the design and project management of a two townhouse development in Cheltenham. This development is extremely unique and we are delighted with the outcome. All who have seen this property have been most impressed with the architectural aspect of the homes and the buildings in general. This was a difficult subdivision because of land size, however all was overcome with a very good result.

Finally, Brutal Art are now in the process of finalising the garden at our home in Surrey Hills.  Although we initially contracted a landscape designer to do our design, we were unhappy with the outcome and made a request to Brutal Art if they could assist us with this project. The garden is not yet complete, however the outcome is looking spectacular and I am extremely pleased that I chose Brutal Art and did not proceed with the proposal from the landscape designer.

In the projects I have been involved in with Brutal Art I have worked with them in different ways. With our house and garden, I was intimately involved in the design process. All of my ideas were thought through thoroughly and together with the designer we achieved an outcome that we were both pleased with. On the other hand, with the development at Cheltenham, I have very little input and left this almost entirely to Brutal Art. Again I am extremely delighted with the outcome.
