Who we are

Brutal Art Design + Build is a Melbourne based, multiple HIA Award Winning team of residential designers and builders that collaborate together from start to finish to deliver unique, tailored, Property Development solutions for our clients.

Our vision is:

To create progressive, site specific, environmentally sustainable solutions for our clients, that generate recognition within the international Design + Build community.

Our Services

Every project we undertake is governed by our 7 Steps Property Development System.

Each of these 7 Steps is a discrete Step in progressing any multi-unit subdivision/development or custom Design + Build home.

We offer each of these 7 Steps individually or collectively as a service to our clients:

• Step One: A Preliminary Development Assessment determines the potential your site has for subdivision and development.
• Step Two: A Land Use Plan assists with obtaining early Council support for your proposed development before you spend time and money on detailed plans.
• Step Three: Concept Drawings distill the design brief into high level drawings that satisfy all key stakeholders. In addition to our regular Concept Drawing service, we also offer the unique FAST TRACK Concept Workshop experience – for those who would like a more hands on approach to designing their dream home!
• Step Four: The Town Planning Application package brings Concept Drawings up to the standard required to lodge a Town Planning Permit application so that a Planning Permit can be issued.
• Step Five: The Detailed Working Drawing package brings Town Planning Drawings up to the standard required by the Building Code of Australia (BCA) so that a Building Permit can be issued.
• Step Six: The Build step turns the Building Permit drawings into Bricks and Mortar.
• Step Seven: Realise your profit by selling or leasing.
